Order Selector - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is looking to hire Order Selectors for a distribution center in the Pottsville area.

All shifts are currently available.

1st and 2nd shift starts at $12.50

3rd shift starts at $13.50

40 hour work week

Right now there are 8,10,12hr shifts. There are also weekend shift openings.

Responsibilities

-Responsible packing up remaining inventory, building pallets, loading and unloading trucks and putting things away in the new warehouse
-Providing incredible service to the stores by accurately selecting products; understanding the critical role the job plays in the day-to-day operations of the stores and their ability to provide incredible service to our customers
-Ensuring products on lines are being selected and moved to the correct locations, keeping pace with equipment and machinery to prevent a slowing in workflow while achieving the minimum requirements of cases/ day or cases/ hour
-Reading store orders and/ or using Vocollect software during product selection, accurately selecting products based on the information received to ensure stores are delivered the items they have ordered
-Building pallets of correctly selected products to be delivered to stores; ensuring pallets are neat and organized to minimize the risk of damaging product and enable stores to unload their deliveries more efficiently
-Properly handling all products, equipment and machinery in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines
-Maintaining open lines of communication with co-workers and supervisors to ensure the warehouse is operating efficiently and are working to provide incredible service to the stores Work

Qualifications

-Must be able to work in a moderate paced environment
-Lifting of 35 - 65 pounds
-Will be trained, certified and responsible for safely operating the electric pallet jack.
-Warehouse/Distribution experience is a plus, not a must.
-Forklift/pallet jack experience is a plus, not a must.
-Must have a positive attitude.
-Must be able to work well within a team.
-Must be able to keep up with production/efficiency numbers
-No education required.

Additional Information

Able to start right away as long as a drug test and background check is cleared.

Evaluations will be based heavily on the ability to hit efficiency numbers. They will also look at safety, teamwork, positive attitude, work ethic and attendance.
