About this job
The Electrical Designer will be responsible for:
- Electrical Equipment Layout
- One line drawings
- Loop drawings
- Panel drawings
- Cable and conduit routing
- Take instructions from lead engineer and generate drawings to construction grade.
The electrical designer will work closely with the project manager and project engineer to develop the design and insure that all aspects of the project have met client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Electrical design experience in industrial projects
- Autocad (a must)
- Autocad Electrical (preferred)
- 3d experience (a plus)
- Strong experience with these types of drawings: one-line diagrams, grounding plans, cable tray, conduit routing etc.
- self starter
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- excellent general computer software skills
- on site experience at a mill (a plus)
This opportunity is contract to hire. The first portion will be based on a client site in Vancouver, WA until about October. Per diem is offered.
After this project is complete, electrical designer will be based out of NE office. Some light travel to be expected.
