Must Have's:
Ability to lift 50 lbs at a minimum
Ability to work 60-90 hours/week
Ability to work on call
Live within 30-45 minutes (not miles) of Exton
Day to day responsibilities include performing property restoration services with a focus on water damage, will report to the local office and go to job sites in the region, will work at commercial construction sites only, Very labor intensive, construction job that requires a lot of hours of work each week. Could be ripping up wet carpet one day, removing damaged furniture and sucking up water that is on the floor. Ready to work 60 to 90 hours a week if needed, be on a rotation for on call work (2 weeks out of a 6 week schedule) and will be required to travel as needed for catastrophic losses. This job requires some heavy lifting and demolition work at times. This position will train on specific monitoring equipment, will use computers to enter basic job/project information. and upload information onto an excel spreadsheet
Typical day:
Report to location between 6am-6:30am. Load up truck with required equipment needed for the day. Drive out to project site. Performed required property restoration duties, load truck back up, drive plant to warehouse. Unload truck, clean equipment
What is property restoration? When you see a fire, flood or water damage to a building on the news- usually this is the company that is called.
