Manufacture products in conformance to plant quality standards.

Package finished goods in conformance to plant quality standards.

Operate several pieces of process equipment simultaneously.

Follow accurate, timely and visible inventory methods to enhance both physical and electronic inventory accuracies.

Uphold and advance HSE policies and standards.

Maintain and improve operating performance of the operations department.

Participate on improvement projects for the plant.

Insure proactive planning and execution of activities within the operations department.

Ensure compliance in areas of safety, housekeeping, and training.

Ensure proper storage and handling of all materials.

Comply with plant infrastructure systems (i.e. ISO 9000).

Report all safety incidents and near misses and participate in investigations.

Complete annual training as outlined in plants' Training Matrix.

Complete required operator progression training as outlined in the Operator Training Matrix.

Work Environment: This is a chemical plant. There are several reactors and hoses running through the plant. It is crowded, but it is clean and safety is by far their number 1 metric. Rooms connected to the plant are climate controlled, but the main plant floor is not. Respirators must be worn, so the plant will be very hot in the Summer.

Hours are on a rotating shift:
2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off. 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am. Qualifications: the candidate must have completed HS or have a GED.

Soft Skill Must haves:
Must be reliable (have a proven history of showing up for work and completing their work well)
Must have problem solving skills: Example would be fixing something small without having to call a supervisor.
Work Ethic: Must be willing to work hard when no one is watching.
