Quality Supervisor

Job Duties:

- Manage the maintenance of up to date product, raw material and manufacturing procedures (SOPs).

- Develop, implement and maintain quality systems and procedures with appropriate documentation to insure continuous improvement in quality, while maximizing capacity and minimizing costs.

- Responsible for Good Manufacturing Practices and the Food Safety Plan in conjunction with the Production Manager.

- Provides follow-up on all customer complaints and leads the investigation of root cause and corrective actions to assist the Sales Representative in arriving at a solution that will satisfy both the customer and the company.

The QC Lab is well structured with 3 Techs so this person needs to take on the day to day supervision of the QA system on the Floor and to be the liaison between Production and the QC lab.

M-F 8:00am - 4:30pm. A little flexible on the start/end times

Qualifications:

-BA/BS in Sciences
- 1 year of Quality Experience ideally in Food
OR
**MS in Food Science with coursework in Food Quality will work**
