Location: Sorrento Valley
Hours: Full-time; 4x10hr work week schedule - Friday-Sunday off!

Job Description:
- Review contracted Medical Group's referral request for medical necessity, determines which requests need Medical Director review, obtain sufficient medical documentation for an informed decision. Processes all requests within established timeframes. Documents all steps of process in authorization system, utilizes industry standard denial language for denial letters.
Brief qualification details:
- California Registered Nurse License
- 1+ years of experience in case management/utilization review management of medical necessities
- Knowledge of home health, skilled nursing, rehab facilities, long term/acute care center management
- Knowledge of CPT coding preferred
