Position Summary

Responsible for the day-to-day management of data, including gathering, summarizing, and analyzing data that the team deems necessary for best practices development and rollout. Identify and communicate any data related issues/recommendations to the team, so they can quickly develop a resolution. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Essential Job Functions

• Pull and summarize data from corporate/division systems as needed
• Perform selected/required key analysis as needed
• Maintain store and department-level database
• Develop and maintain store and department savings estimate model and database
• Ensure rollouts and best practices that support and align with the Customer 1st strategy
• Create management capabilities and processes that sustain continuous improvement
• Identify and communicate any data-related issues and recommendations to the business owner, assistant process change manager, senior process specialist and the team
• Continue to develop skills in key technical areas supporting analytics capabilities and mentor junior process specialists
• Travel to divisions and stores to observe, create performance measurements, and summarize observations
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• 1+ years of analytical experience
• Creative and alert to new ways of approaching tasks
• Ability to collaborate with committees to get desired results
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient at multi-tasking with a high level of initiative
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of financial statements and information retrieval programs (Focus, Business Objects)
• Ability to delve into new areas and facilitate change across the company
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to effectively lead associates to achieve objectives
• Knowledge of in-store activities, including observations, performance measurements, and summarizing observations
• Ability to work overnight/unusual hours to perform in-store tasks
• Ability to travel independently (<50%)
