Job Description

We currently have an immediate opportunity for Stockroom Clerk in Santa Ana, CA. The Stockroom Clerk will be responsible for monitoring inventory, delivering materials to the production floor and transacting materials in and out of the stockroom.  Receives and unpacks materials.  Ensure that shipments from vendors are accurate.

 

•             Ensures material is received, inspected, routed to designated areas, and either placed in stock or issued to the production floor. 

•             Utilizes the ERP Inventory Management System (Visual) to process transactions and update inventory records. 

•             Uses reports to accomplish stockroom/warehouse processes.

•             Works with buyers, production supervisors, and quality inspectors to correct discrepancies/problems.

•             Stores raw material, spare parts, and finished goods by weight and volume on shelves and racks in stockroom and in designated departments. 

•             Identifies materials using part numbers and identification labels 

•             Monitors inventory accuracy through physical inventories and cycle counting practices. Investigates and reconciles discrepancies using data system.

•             Stocks materials on the shelves and transact part numbers and quantities into the inventory database.

•             Pulls stock from pick lists for the machine shop and assembly.  Notes shortages and delivers parts to respective areas.

•             Operates forklift.

•             Coordinates workflow for painter regarding unassembled parts.

•             Performs housekeeping and complies with established safety standards

•             Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
