Job Description
We are seeking an -Entry Level Field l Merchandiser sales representative to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
- Prospect and contact potential customers
- Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
- Inform customers on the product/services available
- Merchandising within a specified area •
- Selling new age beverages and consumer products •
- A route will be set up with current and new accounts.
- 60% merchandising 40% selling
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Driver's license and reliable vehicle ( using your own vehicel)
- Energetic
- Meet or exceed weekly goals

D&B Grocers Wholesale & Distributors roots in the grocery business go back to 1962, when Michael Hesano Sr. opened Hesano Market in Detroit.
The family ascended to the next level in 1994, when they founded D&B Grocers in the Detroit suburb of Lincoln Park. Their goal was to fill the void for an independent distributor to service independent retailers in the Detroit-area market. They quickly found success as D&B Grocers became a primary source for independents across Southeastern Michigan.
Despite the area’s economic ups and downs, D&B Grocers continued its growth. In 2004, D&B Grocers moved to a new warehouse facility in Livonia, and it added additional square footage in 2006.
D&B Grocers now serves hundreds of retailers in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Illinois.
