Bilingual Department Assistant

Poly-West, Inc., a leading manufacturer of plastic products, is currently seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Department Assistant. This position will report to the Plant Manager. A successful candidate must be able to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Department Assistants at Poly-West are responsible for preparing reports, heavy data entry using MS excel and AS400, screening calls in support of multiple department managers at the company, and possibly assisting with projects.  The role may involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management. 

 
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess: 

• Bilingual with above average communication skills using both English and Spanish languages is a plus.
• Willing and able to spend time on the plant manufacturing floor when necessary. 
• Proficient in MS Office products.
• Ability to work independently and complete work with minimal supervision.
• Provide administrative support to multiple department managers.
• Professionally handling phone calls and administrative duties.
