EQUIPMENT AND PRICING ANALYST

Equipment and Pricing Analyst

Full-time equipment and pricing specialist to evaluate commercial equipment for insurance losses. Familiar with commercial equipment and processes is a plus. Make assessments following fires, floods, damages or thefts. Will conduct site evaluations and desktop reviews. Make recommendations for cleaning, repair or replacement of equipment. Research and secure replacement pricing and sourcing. Field work requires working in structures damaged by fire, floods, and tornadoes. Travel is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred

· Must be well-organized, flexible, proactive and detail oriented

· Must have strong analytical skills and be willing to learn new processes or applications

· Must know & learn technical details and be able to explain it to users and clients clearly

· Must show a willingness to adhere to all principles of confidentiality and integrity

· Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Build and lead equipment team for commercial equipment assessment services

· Enhance and increase our market position supplying commercial equipment evaluation services

· Interface with clients and project representatives

· Perform field inspections and necessary site visits. Willing to work a flexible schedule

· Prepare damage assessments (indoor & outdoor), preliminary budgets, research pricing and sources

· Evaluate restoration and/or repair potential

· Prepare estimates and report templates using Encircle, SPEX and Microsoft Excel, Word

· Serve as liaison between insureds, clients, and various contractors, vendors, restoration companies, etc.

· Maintain required file work, quality standards, project documentation and deliverables

· Communicate with executive management to ensure deadlines and project goals

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree

· Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience, specifically within fields of manufacturing, industrial, food retail and service, engineering or commercial insurance property claims

· Industry related degrees, credentials, or certifications

· Self-motivated and a desire to learn equipment

· Willingness to travel overnight, out-of-state, or abroad

· Strong project management skills

· Deadline and detail oriented

· Strong leadership qualities

· Ability to research, network and find resources efficiently

· Subrogation experience
