Sandwich Maker

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Sandwich Maker who enjoys working with our customers and has a friendly, outgoing personality. The ideal candidate will have availability to work evenings, afternoons and weekend shifts. Your responsibilities will include waiting on customers, assembling take-out orders, prep work, and general cleaning and re-stocking.

Position Details:

• Prepares ready-made sandwiches for food cases.
• Prepares sandwiches to customer requirements.
• Maintains cleanliness of work station.
• Works alongside staff as part of a team.
• Keeps walk-in refrigerator inventory organized and rotates stock as needed.
• Notifies Executive Chef, in advance of low inventory in order to maintain stock.
• Assists other food sales staff as required.
• Follows health and safety procedures.
• Adheres to Shubie’s standards for cleanliness, presentation, and quality of service.

Experience and Requirements:

• Desire to work as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Ability to understand customers’ needs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Customer satisfaction-oriented.
• Attention to detail and proven mathematical skills.
