Safety Coordinator - Full-time / Part-time

Company Information:

Schedule:

• 1st shift: M-F 7:30a-4:30p (need to be flexible at times)

Requirements:

• Two-three years’ experience in health, safety, environmental or related field.
• Minimum of high school diploma
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations in OSHA, DOL, and EPA compliance
• Advanced computer skills

Responsibilities

• Training temporary and new-hire employees on forklift, safety, compliance, and job-tasks
• Leading new hire safety orientation
• Conduct refresher trainings as required by OSHA, ISO 9001 and 14001
• Oversee safety committee
• Serve as backup for the Quality Control/Assurance Specialist
• Additional duties as required
