Job Overview:

Reporting to the Manager of Technology Finance - support the Technology departments budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and other financial administrative processes as directed by Technology Finance management. Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Business Unit Financial Leader: Primary contact and financial advocate for Tech VP, Director, Manager on all financial aspects of their respective business. Meet regularly on scheduled basis as well as any on call priorities in support of the business.
• Budgeting: Under guidance and adherence to policy and procedure as outlined by Technology Finance, manages OPEX budgets for all VPs & Directors within a specific Technology business unit.
• PPM Forecasting / Validation: Work with Resource Analysts to capture all financial planning data in Clarity PPM for operating expense support projects and operating expense projects. Utilizing this information for accurate forecasting and budgeting in clarity PPM – unfilled role resolution / communication with Tech management. When applicable – work with business to forecast non labor expense.
• Variance Analysis Utilize standardized reporting as provided by Technology Finance and the PPM organization to execute, review and validate budget forecasting process – providing variance analysis to Finance and business (ROF v Budget – ACTUAL v ROF).
• Review and Resolve incremental, unbudgeted OPEX Requests, establishing an approval process. Work with business on OPEX savings or efficiency projects-translating into actionable financial impact.
• Ad Hoc analysis.
• Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

• BA/ BS Degree, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in financial management.
• 3+ years of leadership experience, specifically influencing and collaboration skills.
• Experience in a technology or ecommerce environment a plus.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present ideas and recommendations.

Reasoning Ability:
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload.
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.

Other Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi stakeholder environment.

Work Hours:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
