About this job
Pallet Builders produce custom sized pallets from new and used lumber. Also responsible for repairing common size pallets.
- Evaluate raw materials (lumber) to determine if it is acceptable for the pallet being assembled.
- Nail boards on to stringers with proper accuracy.
- Properly set up as necessary per pallet specifications.
- Conduct frequent quality checks on finished pallets.
- Stack finished pallets neatly.
- Detect and report defective materials or hand tools to the department lead.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
- Work is a safe manner and abide by all safety rules and regulations.
- Report any and all safety hazards to department lead and/or Plant Manager.
