We currently have an open assignment for a Production Line Leader for a Fiber Optic and Copper Cable Manufacturing Company in the Tampa, FL 33619 area. We offer great benefits - vacation and holiday pay, along with healthcare benefits and 401K! There is also a potential for bonuses!
This is a Temp to Hire Position! Position available for 2nd Shift but must have open availability
Pay Rate: $12-13 / Hour (Depending on Experience), overtime required plus great benefits
Shift Times: 2 PM - 10: 30 PM, some Saturday s required
Job Duties:
Will supervise and lead a diverse workforce as well as perform Assembly.
Will assist in supervising the associates on the production floor.
Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams
Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a team leader or line leader in production and/or mfg field
Electronic Manufacturing experience preferred.
Knowledge of production tools and equipment
Strong leadership qualities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Additional duties as required by supervisor/manager.
- Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly
- Work in a safe manner and follow all safety rules and procedures to ensure personal safety as well as safety of co-workers.
- When limited/no work in area, may provide assistance to other departments as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
