Huron, Oh company has an immediate opening for a Certified Laboratory Technician

$16.00/hour(+ depending on experience)
Hours: 2nd shift, 2:00pm-10:30pm Monday-Friday, (will train on 1st)

Duties include:
Performs dynamic and static tests in accordance with government regulations, regulatory body specifications and manufacturing requirements. Dynamic tests are performed using free falling impact probes, accelerometers, load cells, displacement transducers and PC based data acquisition systems.
Repairs electrical, mechanical, electromechanical equipment for conformance to established standards, and assists in formulating testing and work standards.

Responsibilities include:
Plans sequence of testing and certification procedures for instruments (crash test dummies) and equipment.
Sets up standard and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate, and certify other instruments and test equipment.
Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects.
Measures parts for conformity with specifications.
Aligns, repairs, replaces, and balances component parts.
Reassembles and certifies instruments and equipment.
Assists engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair, and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy of measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment.

Qualifications:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
