CAD Technician

The 2D/3D CAD Technician is responsible for creating and maintaining 2D/3D drawings and models to support the Manufacturing and R&D teams. This can include, new product development, sustaining engineering, and continuous improvement projects.

Duties include:

Develop solid models and STL files for rapid prototyping
Prepare 2D/3D detail part drawings, create assembly drawings
Transforms a 2D sketch or 3D scanned data into a 3D solid model
Reverse engineer physical parts/models to create 3D solid data

Requirements include:
Associate s degree in drafting and design or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
Proficiency in Rhino and SolidWorks
Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
Strong organizational skills, acute attention to detail
Pre-screening testing required

Great pay rate: $18 22 per hour depending in exp.
