Operate forklift and other hand truck/pallet jack equipment
Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
Perform cycle counts as directed
Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped as needed
Inspect forklifts and other material handling equipment daily prior to use and report findings to direct supervisor
Identify and report to work site supervisor any safety hazards in the workplace
Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods

Staffmark currently has an opening for a talented individual to fill the role of Sit Down Forklift Operator in Fontana, CA. As a Forklift Operator, you will keep production supplied by retrieving materials and supplies operating a forklift. Responsibilities of the position will include retrieving supplies and materials, maintaining inventory in production area, clearing production area, documenting actions, maintaining a safe work environment, and keeping forklift operational.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year experience operating a forklift/Clamp. Candidates should also have initiative, data entry skills, documentation skills, and a record or safety in the workplace.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least one years of related experience.
