Horizontal Boring Mill

Staffmark has partnered with a Piqua manufacturer of presses used in rubber processing to fill the position of a FIRST SHIFT, DIRECT HIRE HORIZONTAL BORING MILL OPERATOR! Position will set up and operate horizontal boring, drilling, and milling machine to perform operations including milling, drilling, boring, and reaming of metal work pieces. Candidate must be able to select appropriate tooling based on job specifications, with a knowledge of math as it applies in a machining environment, metal properties, and machining procedures. Blueprint reading is required, ability to read written work instruction, and make adjustments to machinery. Must be able to use crane or hoist to lift materials, position and secure material to machine, and use precision measurement tools.

High School diploma or equivalent, 2-5+ years machining experience with Horizontal Boring mill and CNC experience preferred.
