70% : Read and verify the daily grinding schedule; review and double check the cut sheets/work order/sales order for customer instructions on tolerance. Reads shop drawings, adjust machines for dimensional requirements. Operate the grinding and/or milling machine; following all Safety and Quality standard procedures. Mill/Grinding Turnover of Information Report is made daily and given to the Lead/Supervisorof the following shift. Check and verify equipment for defects prior to moving items to the shipping area. Selects and uses training methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new processes, how to read blueprint specifications, following tooling instructions and standard charts and applying knowledge of grinding procedures: Reads blueprint and job order for product specifications, such as dimensions, tolerances, and number of parts to be ground, and tooling instructions, such as grinding speeds, feed rates, holding fixtures, and grinding wheels to be used. Dresses wheels to specifications, using dressing device. Lifts and positions workpiece manually or with hoist. Starts machine and observes operation. Verifies dimensions of ground workpiece for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and preset gauges. Changes worn grinding wheels, using wrenches. Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock. Programs mills by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs. Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position. Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards. Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Documents actions by completing production and quality logs. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

20%:Operates overhead magnet cranes to move material ensuring all safety standards and procedures are followed. Standard use of forklift ensure the same saftey standards. Operates CNC machines.

10%: Process all necessary paper work as required. Housekeeping and maintenance of assigned work area on a daily basis. Equipment management and quality control. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
