Work Schedule & Benefits:

Hourly rate: $22.50 + benefits
Monday through Thursday: approx. start times between 4:00pm to 5:00pm with the ability to work Saturdays when needed.

Job Description:

Driver will pull containers out of the Long Beach/ Los Angeles ports terminals
Operate a Class A tractor-containers combination -- 20' to 53'
Driver must conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on both tractor / container & chassis
Thoroughly complete and turn in all required pick-up/ delivery paperwork daily
Driver will also safely transport general products to and from local customer locations
Comply with company policies and all federal, state and local DOT regulations
Driver must be safety conscious and understand safe work practices around the terminals, customer yards, public streets, and highways.


Qualifications:

Must be at least 23 years of age or older
Must have at least 1 year or more of experience within the last 3 years with Class A license (CDL)
Must have a current TWIC card
Must have current Medical Certificate
No more than 3 moving violations and/or preventable accidents combined in the last 3 years.
Previous Port/Harbor experience preferred, but not required (Must have valid TWIC card)
No DUI's /DWI's in the past 5 years
Must be able to provide current DMV Printout H-6 (10 year), issued within the past 30 days
