$23.10/hour ($22.40/hour plus .70 shift diff) -- Union rate is non-negotiable
2nd Shift -- Monday to Friday, 3pm-11pm (must be able to train on first shift for 2 months)

Environment: Industrial/Manufacturing. We process high-performance alloys and metals for the Aerospace Industry. As part of a team of Maintenance Mechanics, keeping on top of preventive maintenance is an essential part of production.
Equipment includes: metal cutting grinders, torch cutters, plasma cutters, band saws, shears, abrasive saws, surface cleaning shot blasters, general building and forklifts, and up-keep of waste water treatment equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have knowledge of basic building maintenance trades such as welding/cutting, electrical, plumbing, mechanics, pumps, hydraulics, motors, and HVAC.
Must be able to operate a forklift, light truck and other related motorized equipment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include off-shift hours and weekend assignments
Capable of performing operations precisely per written procedures
Knowledge of waste water treatment would be a plus.
High School Education or GED Equivalent minimum
3-5 years' work experience at minimum in maintenance related field.

JOB DUTIES

Maintains all equipment in good working order.
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Performs routine daily inspection and maintenance necessary to production operation
Maintains accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules
Performs weekly safety checks throughout the facility to ensure a safe and clean environment for the patrons of the facility and to eliminate hazards
Controls downtime by training production workers on routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
Follows plant safety, environmental policies, and reporting requirements
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
