A successful Business Operations Analyst will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four year College/University; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to solve practical problems in an ever-changing and evolving business landscape.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, interact and present information across a large spectrum of audiences ranging from the general public to individual contributors, managers and/or executives from various business stakeholder units and IT.
  • Applicant must be willing to handle a variety of situations and tasks with minimal supervision from management. Applicant must be self-motivated and strive to take initiative to analyze data, draw conclusions, derive solutions and solve problems on their own.

A Business Operations Analyst within the Business Process and Technology department will work cross-functionally with other departments to deliver projects, programs and strategic initiatives which impact the company’s bottom line. Your work will make key contributions towards the end to end experience for customers, agents (sales & customer service, marketing, legal and broadband) and technicians. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be a highly motivated individual capable of working with peers, managers and executives of other departments to identify issues, establish priorities and engage IT technical resources to define solutions.

 

Primary Responsibilities and Job Functions:

 

  • Manages planning, development, design, requirements gathering, project scope documentation and implementation of assigned projects, programs & strategic initiatives.
  • Engages with business unit stakeholders and IT to oversee and guide implementation throughout the project, program or initiatives life-cycle.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert and “go to” resource for business rules and projects, programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Creates and distributes weekly project statuses/updates, organizes and conducts weekly project meetings and tracks any relevant issues and tasks on said programs and projects.
  • Performs analysis to identify/verify production application issues. Determines solutions for production application issues and works with appropriate teams to fix the issue(s).
