A successful Business Operations Analyst will have the following: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and two plus years of experience; Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; and four plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Logical thinker with strong competency using spreadsheets and relational databases
  • Detail oriented, enjoys problem solving, analytical, creative thinker, good communication skills, team player
  • Takes pride in their work, career, and performance
  • Adventurous with the desire to compete and win

A Business Operations Analyst is responsible for understanding, analyzing, and implementing business rules as well as being accountable for how rules function in a wide array of applications. This person is self-motivated, energetic, adaptable and excited to continuously learn in a fast- paced environment.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze and implement project requirements
  • Update databases that are the source for customer management applications and understand their relationships to upstream and downstream applications
  • Ensure business requirements are implemented in the most efficient way by working cross functionally with various business units
  • Provide detailed reports to various levels of the organization on project status and data setup
  • Quickly communicate issues with all impacted parties and recognize when escalation is needed
  • Validate accuracy of data setup in applications and be able to discover and correct errors.  Conduct audits to identify inconsistencies in systems and databases
