The successful Test Engineer will have:

  • BS Degree in Computer Science/STEM degree, or relevant experience
  • At least 2 years of Software Test Engineering experience with emphasis on UI manual testing
  • At least 2 years of experience with some or all phases of testing: Functional, Regression, and Integration
  • At least 2 years of experience writing test plans, test scenarios, test cases, execution of test case and documentation and interpretation of test results
  • At least 6 months experience with testing on any of the following areas: Web (HTML), iOS, Android, Roku, Xbox, Desktop Applications, or web services (API)
  • At least 6 months of development experience in log diving and analysis
  • At least 1 years of experience with defining the testing strategy for large scale programs and ensuring requirements traceability throughout the system development lifecycle

Responsibilities to include:

  • Create test plans, test cases and test reports
  • Fully document test processes and test cases
  • Execute test cases, on a variety of consumer electronic devices
  • Track issues both internally and in collaboration with multiple external teams
  • Collaborate with peer testers and developers to improve testing processes and infrastructure
  • Maintain open communication with internal teams 
  • Plan and document the testing effort via test plans and test cases for all projects
