Senior Business Operations Manager - Analytics - Full-time

A successful Senior Analytics Manager will have the following:

• Master's or Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in an analytical/quantitative business field, and experience successfully managing a team
• Strong and positive leadership capability, high energy, and focus to exceed expectations
• Experience in MS Office (strong in Excel and Access) with understanding of VBA, Tableau and SQL
• High degree of analytical intelligence and an extreme bias toward data’s use in organizational success
• Well-developed oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials

We’re looking for a Senior Manager of the Analytics team, part of our IHS Central Operations at our Corporate Headquarters!  Our analytics team works with Corporate and Field teams to gather requirements, design, develop and maintain high quality reporting, and provides analytical and data solutions for the organization.  We leverage technology (Tableau, Python, R, and others) to further our understanding of data to drive operational and financial performance.

This team works directly with internal IHS partners, IT and other departments at DISH to ensure accuracy of reporting, usability of applications, and presentation of data trends and statistical analysis.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Building and executing team strategies by leading staff; hiring talented individuals, training, empowering and coaching employee success, and building future leaders of the organization
• Champion efforts effectively across multiple teams, building strong working relationships with partners in IHS, IT, Business Process and Technology, Marketing, Customer Experience Operations, and more
• Frequent implementation of technology solutions for data analysis and presentation; including assignment of tasks, design and deployment of solutions
• Maintaining reliable, accurate, and deliberate reporting and analysis with troubleshooting and enforcement of organizational standards
