The Merchandising Promotions Specialist will actively manage our branded merchandise collections to ensure that the brand DNA is reflected with coordinated product, pricing and placements.

The Merchandising Promotions Specialist will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Ensure exceptional product-related consumer experiences and offerings with seasonal merchandise collections, promotion, and website design and execution
  • Develop seasonal branded merchandise collections that support the DNA of each brand
  • New merchandise idea generation and fulfillment
  • Work with Brands, Product Design Office (PDO), agencies, decorators and suppliers to come up with new ideas to add to each branded merchandise collection on a regular basis
  • Inventory management; pricing strategy and alignment between brands
  • Determine optimal product mix for maximum return on revenue, while maintaining a competitive edge in the industry
  • Work within MAM guidelines for funding review and approval on all merchandise expenditures
  • Develop and execute media and marketing plan communications to support the awareness, distribution and sale of branded merchandise
  • Research and propose innovative new merchandising concepts and ideas to ensure maximum product exposure and appeal
  • Explore new and unique marketing avenues for the distribution and promotion of branded merchandise outside of our traditional venues and E-Commerce presence
  • Work with external vendors to coordinate stock and display our products in unique and appealing ways
  • Ensure that current key licensed products are available for sale via our on-line merchandise e-Stores
  • Stay current on all industry trends
  • Website design: creation of enhanced web and user experience; functionality enhancements; banner execution/updates that reflect brand campaigns and initiatives; (3 e-Store levels---Retail, Employee, Dealer) x per each brand (i.e., Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo), totaling 18 E-Commerce websites
  • Monitor consumer and industry trends for development of new products and revenue opportunities; regularly monitor competitors' activities
  • Document best practices of key competitors and E-Commerce leaders
  • Support product placement, events, auto shows and other brand activities, via merchandising
