POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Digital Sales Specialist will support the Sales Department's online and digital efforts in a number of capacities, including account management, new business development and sales support. The Digital Sales Specialist will be responsible for execution of sales initiatives to ensure the attainment of account plan volume and profit goals. Additionally, the Specialist will work to investigate and open new online business models and will support sales by coordinating product set up, content loading, etc. for various national account managers. Under the guidance of the Sr Director National Sales, the Digital Sales Specialist will learn and develop the necessary skills to grow within the sales organization.

 

POSITION PROFILE

  •  Responsible for managing and developing the business of existing specified .com retail customers including Ebay, Chewy, Overstock and Houzz. Under the direction of the Sr Sales Director, the Digital Sales Specialist will drive the strategic direction of the account by developing and implementing the necessary initiatives to achieve set sales and revenue goals.
  • Build marketing programs and promotions in a coordinated effort with the account's marketing team to drive BISSELL's sales and profit goals of the account. Responsible for creating promotions while maintaining marketing fund budget objectives.
  • Explore, open and develop new .com customers that may include those with alternative business models, third party marketplace, etc.
  • Evaluate new customer inquiries for direct sales relationship or redirect to appropriate distributor partner.
  • Assist with new account set ups and necessary contract work with legal.
  • Support effective communication of all retailer information throughout the organization including Marketing, Customer Service, Retail Account Coordinators and A/R Coordinators.
  • Process and track advertising claims through internal BISSELL system. Fill out Marketing Funds Commitment Forms, maintain records of corresponding credit memos, and clear outstanding claims in an efficient and appropriate manner.
  • Forecast duties as assigned and volume warrants. This may involve a direct forecast responsibility or coordination with the forecasting team to account for volume included in the forecast.
  • Manage and execute exemplary content via third party partners (Webcollage/Power Reviews) across direct sales accounts, and provide support for national account managers. This includes images, copy, videos, syndicated reviews and content, advertising creative, consumer content, monitoring reviews, etc.
  • Manage, execute and optimize our pay per click retail.com advertising programs through our third party partner Criteo.
  • Provide detailed program analytics where they are available, including ROI, click through ratios, cost per click, optimized search terms, etc.
  • Monitor MAP program, competitive item programs/pricing & market trends.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
