Immediate opening Front Desk reservations.  Can be part time Saturday and Sundays only 2:00pm to 10:00pm or if you would like more hours you could work Tuesday and Wednesday 2:00pm to 10:00pm.  This job pays $12 per hour and is a temp to hire position it is located by Lehi. 

 

MAJOR DUTY DESCRIPTION:

Actively participates in the management of chargeable billeting properties by performing a wide variety of clerical and administrative support. Makes reservations for incoming guests based on room availability.  Interviews incoming guests to determine room assignment.  Assists clientele in the completion of required forms and registration cards. Answers questions pertaining to rules and regulations governing the assignment and use of quarters; issues room keys. Provides statements of non-availability when applicable. Posts registration information into the registration computer system.  Orients guests concerning use of facilities equipment and other facilities available on post.  Answers billing questions and concerns.  Computes charges for guests checking out, receives payments and room keys; renders receipts. At end of shift, accounts for and secures cash. Responds to guest inquires and complaints and provides general Lodging information and assistance when required. Receives maintenance or repair requests; prepares, tracks, and oversees work orders. Follows up with guests on status of emergency work orders.  Assists the Front Desk Manager in the execution of his/her duties and shares in the oversight/management of lodging operations.

 

Might have to performs housekeeping and laundry duties of a routine nature under general supervision. Works according to established procedures and production schedules. Receives oral instructions about daily assignments and performs required duties in the time allocated. Ensures compliance with instructions and standards of production and quality.

 

Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas of responsibility. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, strips and polishes using light and heavy duty powered equipment. Operates industrial equipment to clean rugs, drapes, etc. Performs routine maintenance of equipment. Cleans, disinfects and deodorizes toilet facilities. Cleans, and dusts assigned areas. Empties trash. Makes beds and changes linen. Washes walls, windows, blinds, and ceiling fixtures using ladders, scaffolds and safety belt. Moves heavy furniture. Maintains stock of room and cleaning supplies to perform assigned duties. Identifies and reports minor repairs needed lodging areas.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

 

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide at the level necessary to complete required reports and use a computer for work processing or data entry. Good verbal communication and customer service skills.

Must have the ability to follow instructions and read signs.  Basic knowledge of common cleaning solvents, cleaning tools, and equipment. Understands proper uses of a variety of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions, and removes different kinds of stains from a wide variety of surfaces. Ability to troubleshoot situations and make adjustments. Ability to perform minor repair and maintenance of cleaning equipment. Requires standing and walking on hard surfaces with some bending, lifting, and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.

  

Must be able to pass background check and drug screening.
