About this job
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Loading and Unloading containers.
Most freight is less than 50 lbs/carton; must have ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs/carton.
Separate/palletize freight by part number.
Stretchwrap all product to ensure secure travel and transfer of product throughout the facility.
Work with team leader to process all receiving exceptions such as overages, shortages and receipt of wrong product.
Fill out any/all paperwork required by each area.
Clean and maintain work area in an orderly fashion.
Qualifications:
Ability to stand/work on your feet for up to ten hours per day.
Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
Self-starter with strong sense of ownership and involvement.
Ability to perform multiple job functions effectively and accurately.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Forklift experience a plus, but not mandatory. *** They will certify people on forklift if working out well ***
