POSITION SUMMARY: The Transfer Center Intake Specialist works in collaboration with Capital Division Leadership and Hospital Administration, Nursing Administration, Emergency Department, and other areas of the hospitals to facilitate appropriate placement of a patient to an HCA Hospital. The specialist provides assistance for coordinating referring facilities and referring providers with access to the most appropriate healthcare resource based on the urgency and acuity of their healthcare needs.
