Permanent position: Tooling Engineers are needed for a renowned automotive OEM outside of Birmingham, AL. The Tooling Engineers are responsible for supporting production requests for die improvements, conducting cavity replacement tooling builds, overseeing day to day dimensional issues, and ensuring validation of these changes. Qualified candidates must have a BS in Engineering and 3+ years' of Tooling Engineering experience within a die cast or plastic injected manufacturing environment. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. Responsibilities for the Tooling Engineer• Track engineering revision for both part model and die database • Monitor tooling up-time, and generate countermeasures for all issues
