About this job

We are a in-vitro diagnostics company dedicated to improving the diagnosis of high-risk medical conditions through the identification and validation of protein biomarkers that can serve as the basis for novel in-vitro diagnostic tests. To support development and improvements to its novel biomarker products, we are seeking an innovative, results-oriented self-starter to join our product development team. The qualified candidate will apply his / her technical and leadership skills to lead the designing, planning, execution and documenting of the performance verification studies for our immunoassay products. This is a contract position with an expected duration of 6 months.

Responsibilities

Work hands-on with technical staff to design and execute performance verification activities, including

  • Design of test methods
  • Development of test plans
  • Development and execution of formal verification study protocols
  • Analysis and interpretation of results
  • Documentation of test results through formal verification study reports
  • Communicate data, conclusions, and technical plans / progress (both verbally and in writing) through written reports and interactive discussions

Requirements

  • MS or BS in the physical sciences, life sciences, or engineering disciplines (e.g., physics, chemistry,chemical / biomedical engineering, biochemistry, or biology) with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with immunoassay development and rapid assay platforms preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with protein biochemistry techniques including SDS-PAGE, spectrophotometry, western blotting and etc. preferred.
  • Proven ability to execute complex experiments, interpret experimental results and make sound conclusions independently.
  • Proficiency in performing in-depth statistic data analysis using data analysis software such as MSExcel Analyse-it,
  • Working experience with product development and controlled documentation processes in a regulated medical device industry. Knowledge or experience with FDA submission preferred.
  • Must have good written and oral communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary organization to tight timelines.
