Aerotek is currently recruiting for a Test Engineer Opportunity at Aberdeen Proving Ground. Please take a look at the responsibilities and qualifications below and apply if interested.

Responsibilities include:
* Perform MDF (Mission Data File) and OFP (Operational Flight Program) laboratory hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) testing to ensure proper programming and aircraft configuration settings.
* Provide EW system project team members with technical assistance and training on the use of aircraft simulation hardware and software.
* Define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret developmental tests for new and/or modified system components.
* Investigate and resolve operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel.
* Provide technical support to other engineering groups. Guide and direct lower level personnel on the set-up and performance of tests.
* Participate in the development, maintenance and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs.

* BS degree in electrical engineering or related field desired or 3 years of related experience with Electronic Warfare and testing environments
* Due to government requirements candidate must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance. A higher level clearance may be required at some point in employment.
* Test engineering experience and knowledge, to include but not limited to, coordinating activities concerned with electronic warfare system(s) under test, scheduling, and resolving engineering design, data collection and analysis, system integration, trouble reporting, and writing/critiquing system requirements and test procedures.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills, resourceful, and able to work independently
* Knowledge and understanding of EW principles and theory, to include both RF and EO/IR systems and capabilities.
* Familiarity with Army IEWS systems.
* Good Communication Skills, Oral and Written.
* Able to travel in support of mission requirements
