Network Engineer
EASi Engineering is hiring for a solution engineer as a part of the IoT Platform solution team with a proven background in architecture, software, networking technologies and implementation. In this role you'll design, build, validate and provide guidance for the vertical solutions on which you work. The Internet of Things is ramping quickly, this is your opportunity to join an organization whose day job is the IoT.
Our team of skilled engineers and architects are busy developing and validating solutions for key IoT customers and verticals. We work with business leaders, field teams, services and partners, to develop solutions which help our customers solve critical business problems. If you're looking for a place to develop and demonstrate a broad range of technical skills and expertise, solutions engineering is the place to be.
You will demonstrate deep technical knowledge of networking technologies with a strong focus on end-to-end network architecture. You will have hands on knowledge and experience implementing these architectures with your keen networking and software skills. Your ability to write software, do data modeling and/or analytics and visualization will be highly regarded in this role. You will also have an open and engaging collaboration style with a high level of energy and initiative.
Our requirements for this role:
* Experience in Solutions Integration and Validation, Scale and Performance Testing
* Hands on experience with L2-L3, Routing and Switching, Data Center, QoS and Network Security, Cisco Wireless
* Programming/Scripting: Python, Java, Javascript, Bash, GIT, Jenkins
* Linux: CentOS, RedHat, Fedora, Ubuntu, Alpine
* Virtualization: VMware, KVM, Docker
* IoT protocols/services (MQTT, AMQP, RESTful API, RabbitMQ)
* Database (Parstream, SQL, ODBC)
* Cloud: AWS or Azure experience would be a plus
* IoT: Experience in IoT domain specifically with Cisco Kinetic, Cisco IOx, IE4K, IR8XX would be an advantage
