INJECTION MOLD TECHNICIAN NEEDED!
Plastic Manufacture in City of Industry is seeking Set up Tech for the 3rd shift.
- 1+ years of experience operating Plastic Injection Molding Machines.
- Produce parts by following the work orders, blueprints, and programming folders.
- Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; informing supervisors and team leads when machinery needs repairs.
- Strong understanding of drawing specifications, interpreting geometric dimensions, and tolerances.
- Set up new and repaired molds and develop molding processes and document them into programs folder.
Document any new tooling instruction and fills out the last part mold inspection sheet. - Communicate with tooling engineers with tooling problems or mold damage.
- Help train new employees on material processing and part inspections.
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers, Vernier calipers, and optical compactor.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
3rd shift is from 11:00pm to 7:30am
Pay: $16hr - $18hr
