3rd shift
This facility has 140 employees and makes products from peanuts. They do the full process including shelling, blanching, making peanut butter, roasting peanuts. Their maintenance team includes technicians, fabricators, a supervisor, and manager. They are looking for someone that has electrical and mechanical maintenance background. They must be open to facilities maintenance as well (changing light bulbs, basic plumbing, basic HVAC and etc) This person will spend their time troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment when it goes down. The type of mechanical equipment they will work with includes conveyors, chains, motors, drive sprockets - Lewis M. Carter industrial separation equipments. On the electrical side it will be controls, proximity sensors, thermal couples, metal detectors, AC/DC motors, reading electrical blueprints, PLCs, 3 phase motors, 480V motors
They do not need someone that is able to program as the maintenance manager is the only one who ever gets into the code. They simply need someone that is capable of handling both electrical and mechanical issues as they come up, and fix them as quickly as possible. This person will need to have their own set of basic tools such as hand tools, wrenches, screw drivers; power tools and larger ones are on site and they can use those.
Responsibilities
○ Troubleshoot industrial manufacturing machinery and equipment
○ Use troubleshooting tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes
○ Read electrical blueprints
○ Work with AC/DC motors, valves, and transducers
○ Troubleshooting electrical systems using ladder logic, electrical prints and/or schematics
Required Experience
○ At least 2-5 years of relevant work experience within an automatic manufacturing environment.
