Head Baker Needed!
Established, FUN and GROWING celebration baking company needs a BAKER who is passionate about quality and has a desire to help lead/support a small team and "own" their kitchen.
We need great BAKING LEADERS that love to learn new skills and figure things out.
Our bakery stores are "speciality" and are about creating unique experiences. We are busy and expanding with lots of growth opportunities and it is time to grow our Baking leadership team too!
Responsibilities
- Bake amazing things from scratch using the finest ingredients
- Cultivate a positive working environment
- Support daily bakery operations including things like scheduling and ordering
- Manage and control costs
- Teach and develop your team
- Be "on", seeing, doing and leading by example
Ideal Qualifications
- You love to bake! (cake decor a +++)
- 3-5 years of management or supervisory experience
- Min. 2 years kitchen experience (culinary degree ideal)
- Accustomed to a busy/bustling environment
- Works well with some pressure/deadlines
- a "hands-on" approach to work
