Job Description

We are seeking a 3rd Shift Supervisor to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the retail sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency

  • Resolve escalated customer complaints

This is a working supervisory position in a non climate controlled environment for the 3rd shift, not a sit behind a desk supervisor. Responsibilities and requirements are: · Develop and oversee of team of warehouse associates · Receive material from in-coming transfer trucks and vendor shipments · Load out-going trucks for company transfers and customer deliveries · Insure inventory is maintained accurately and perform daily cycle counts · Insure and handle daily housekeeping duties · Monitor operation to insure a safe and orderly environment in compliance with all state and federal regulations · Maintain levels of productivity and quality through on-going training and communication · Address performance issues and counsel employees · Maintain all branch equipment to insure reliability and safety · Experience with RF scanning system needed · Computer skills needed · AS400 experience a plus · Strong attention to detail required · Excellent safety record required · Duties require an employee to lift, lower, and carry product up to a maximum of 64 pounds by hand

Summary of Responsibilities
Perform set up and operation of Elastomer Lathe Machinery for FREECAPS, in order to prepare elastomeric parts required in the production of swellable packers and downhole tools or other products offered to TAM customers and other clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Review blueprints, drawings, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of part/product, sequence of operations and/or set up requirements. Secure the elastomer to be used per the drawing or S/O. Start and observe machine operation to detect any malfunctions. Adjust control settings to regulate various machining factors such as speed and thickness. Produce and gauge a variety of elastomer compounds. Verify conformance of finished elastomer to ensure that it meets specifications. Confer with production personnel, engineers or others to resolve elastomer or machinery issues. Perform daily maintenance duties and/or notify supervisor of any equipment-related issues that may require attention. Maintain clean and orderly work area. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education/Experience
Requires one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school (for machining) OR a minimum of 2 years related experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and equipment manuals, production reports and schedules. Ability give full attention when others are talking taking the time to understand the points being made, asking questions at appropriate times and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Ability to legibly write and complete routine reports, logs or forms.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to deal with a variety of complex variables to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to work under a minimum of supervision. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings as they pertain to production of inflatable packers or related downhole tools. Ability to utilize precision measuring tools and instrument to verify specifications.
