Cashier (Overnight) - Full-time / Part-time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·        Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment; offer service with a smile

·        Accurately and efficiently operate cash register and other related store equipment

·        Assist in preparing food products and stock and clean food display areas

·        Maintain self-serve areas including coffee dispensers, fountain machine, and condiment center

·        Restock and face coolers, shelves and displays to minimize out of stocks

·        Actively participate in all store sales promotions and suggest sales items to customers

·        Report to work on time and in uniform

·        Maintain a clean and organized store inside and out; conduct routine bathroom checks ensuring they are stocked and clean

·        Follow company policy on robbery/violence prevention and safety

·        Follow all local, state, and federal laws regarding alcohol, tobacco and lottery sales

·        Live and exemplify Maverik’s core values

·        Other duties as assigned

Experience, skills and qualifications

·        High School diploma, GED or experience

·        Excellent customer service and people skills

·        Dependable and punctual

·        Food handlers permit if required by store/county
