Job Description

Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for monitoring performance and key metrics, adapting quickly to scale upwards for the e com business, while optimizing return on automation spend. The Ecommerce Manager is also responsible for but not limited to the transportation of products, distribution of products to direct consumers, retailers, web based retailers.

The E Commerce Manager will develop and enforce standard operating procedures to comply with designated while building relationships with clients and help resolve any freight issues that may arise.

To perform this job successfully, an individual shall have broad knowledge of the organization and functions of activities involved in providing warehouse concepts, practices and procedures as it pertains to ecommerce business.

This position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The qualified candidate is required to perform a variety of tasks. He/She may lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

  • E-Commerce Manager oversees Ecommerce Shipping and Receiving Departments (Returns)

DEFINITIONS

Inventory Control / System Implementation

An inventory control system (WMS 360) is a system the encompasses all aspects of managing a company's inventories; shipping, receiving, tracking, warehousing and storage, turnover, and reordering. Make sure inventory system is up to date and accurate always for the designated e commerce business.

Manage Online Production Staff

  • Staff which includes the day-to-day management of projects, operations, team members, and metrics.

E-Commerce Manage Fulfillment, Shipping and Receiving (R.A) Departments and Staff 

  • Manage staff to ensure all incoming orders are printed, picked, processed, packed and shipped, same day as received
  • Also ensure all Receiving orders are logged and accounted for and product returns have been processed and added back to Inventory daily.
  • Manage Marketplace FBA (Amazon), Drop-ship shipments on a timely manner.

Manage All Online Marketplaces by Direction of Management

  • Assist Directors, Facility management, Directors and Vice-President in maintaining, managing All marketplaces through performance
  • Keep up to date with all new technologies such as software, Data processes and be proactive in creating and implementing new processes and procedures when needed

Knowledge and Implementation of all Business procedures without supervision

  • Ability to run business from A-Z without Supervision
  • Ability to time manage projects, head count and delegate to staff appropriately
  • Create new processes to better employee work ethic and create training processes (On Boarding) for new hires.
  • Must be able to delegate projects and tasks if not available and always follow up on process even though not in office.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years ecommerce experience
  • Experience managing a diverse team
  • Proven success launching, managing ecommerce business requirements
  • Experience interfacing with web development teams and cross sectional department
  • Solid understanding of best practices as they pertain to ecommerce production/fulfillment

Required experience:

  • Amazon FBA: 1 year
