Monday-Friday 10am-6pm

 

 

Pay Rate

$11.00

 

About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a long-established clothing company as a warehouse associate within the Shepherdsville area on a temp to perm basis.

The current open position would be specifically for a Shipping Technician, but you would also be trained as a picker, packer and unloader, allowing you the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and become a valuable part of the team!

The role will involve:

• Order picking with manual, paper based pick sheet
• Pulling warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements
• Ensuring that orders are accurate
• Stages items correctly for delivery
• Operate handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed
• Ensures targets are met (working to speed and accuracy)
• Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
• Performs other general warehouse duties as needed
• Create shipping labels and prepare items for UPS

Skills Required:

• Previous Experience Working in a Warehouse is essential
• Keen Attention to Detail
• Ability to Lift up to 40lbs
• Ability to Stay on Feet for Long Periods of Time
• Positive Attitude
• Ability to Work in a Fast Paced, Busy Environment
• Good Communication Skills, must be numerate and literate.
• Ability to Work Well in a Team but Be Self-Motivated and Independent.
• Basic computer skills – familiarity with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Chrome.
• Familiarity with UPS Worldship and Shipstation a bonus.
