The Beaver Creek Trail Crew has 1 position dedicated to GIS data collection and mapping.  This person is responsible for collecting relevant mountain and infrastructure data points and generating GIS digital and printed maps to support the daily operations of Beaver Creek Mountain Operations and planning.  This position may also be required to assist with day-to-day trail crew duties when not working on GIS projects.  This role requires time both inside and outside, being able to work independently and building the GIS maps from essentially the ground up.  This position reports directly to the Director of Mountain Operations and will also work closely with Mtn Ops department managers, mountain planning and other resort departments.  This position is from May 1- October. 

 

Job Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older - required
  • Able to lift and carry 75 lbs - required
  • Proficient computer skills - required

  • Physical dexterity to hike on ski slopes is required - required
  • Valid US driver's license with acceptable driving record - required
  • Able to work outside in all mountain weather conditions - required
  • Able to work weekends and holidays - required
  • Able to communicate in English - required
  • Previous Trail Crew experience in Beaver Creek - highly preferred
