JOB SUMMARY
Assist Receiving Department with all inbound orders coming into large distribution center. Take accurate counts, report any discrepencies in order accuracies, keep all product organized, and ensure cartons reach the correct department. Help with numerous other warehouse procedures when needed.
ESSTENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately move received orders from dock to prcessing area while keeping organization as a proirity.
- Unloads freight trucks using pallet jacks and fork lift.
- Receives merchandise and processes merchandise according to standards.
- Demonstrate accountability for all merchandise via the receiving system.
- Adhere to all appropriate warehouse security procedures and loss prevention measures to protect against damage or loss.
- Build and keep professional relationships with daily delivery drivers.
- Ability to oversee and run the department with the absence of the Department Lead.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
- At least 1 year related work experience
- Basic computer skills with ability to learn
- English fluency
- RF handheld scanning experience
- Warehouse shipping/receiving background
- Ability to lift 50lbs multiple times per day
- Strong attention to detail and organization
