Inspector - Full-time / Part-time

 

 

For over 90 years, this contract manufacturer of medium to heavy gauge metal components has grown to over 150 employees. These manufactured parts are used for transmissions, brakes, or engines (jet or diesel) for trucks, tractors, construction equipment, military tanks, and aircraft engines.  Quality standards are set high because the parts are used in the critical internal assemblies of the products.

 

Bench Work Inspector needed for this contract manufacturer.

 

Duties for this Bench Work Inspector include, but not limited to:

         Inspect processed, machine and/or assembled parts

         Inspect products for defects, wear and deviations from specifications

         Use precision inspection measuring instruments and complex test equipment

 

Requirements for the Bench Work Inspector include the following:

         Ability to stand for eight hours a day

         Ability to pick up, up to, 50 pounds frequently for eight hours a day

         Ability to read part/assembly drawings

         Ability to perform physical, manual labor for eight hours a day

         Ability to work independently

         Ability to work with others

         Ability to communicate effectively, in written and verbal form, to co-workers and supervisory personnel clearly and concisely

         Ability to speak and read English

 

This Bench Work Inspector p osition is on 1st shift for the first 90 days, after 90 days it may transfer to an off shift.

Starting hourly rate is $13.27 per hour plus rate incentive work.
