Tenurable appointment Level E Faculty of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences Be Inspired Research Theme: Data-Intensive Discovery About the team The Department of Mathematics and Statistics has an established and dedicated team of teaching and research staff who engage in a multidisciplinary approach to provide pathways to incorporate mathematics and statistics into undergraduate and postgraduate studies and research. The department provides a focus for mathematical research and research training in the areas of group theory, combinatorics and computation, to give mathematics the increased visibility it deserves. Our program of teaching and research covers the broad fields of applied mathematics, pure mathematics and statistics.
