Evergreen Estates Retirement Community is a 96-bed, personal care facility serving the geriatric community. We are currently seeking a responsible LPN to join our team as a 2nd shift supervisor! Licensed Practical Nurse Available Positions: Position: LPN Shift Supervisor, Medication Nurse  Status: Full Time  Shift: 2nd   Position: LPN Medication Nurse  Status: EO weekend  Shift: 1st & 2nd Position: LPN Medication Nurse  Status: PRN  Shift: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current PA Practical Nursing license Job responsibilities include:      Administering medications and treatments as ordered     Assessing residents and analyzing information to develop appropriate interventions     Conferring with families, physicians and pharmacists to provide the best care possible     Maintaining resident clinical files & records     Ability to demonstrate leadership skills while working with other direct care staff     Assisting residents with ADLs     Working as direct supervisor to med-techs and direct care staff Additional Skills required:      Proficient communication skills     Experience with electronic MARs and charting prefered      General computer skills     Strong time-management skills     Ability to work with a team of caregivers     High standards of ethics and personal accountability     Ability to lift, push or pull 50lbs     CPR & First Aide Certification (Can train on site if needed)  *Supervisor Duties & Skills required:      Work as supervisor to all nursing staff on 2nd shift     Manage all orders received after 5:00pm, confer with physicians and receive verbal orders     Must have strong assessment skills and be able to handle emergency situations     Must be self-motivated and able to work independently     Must have strong problem-solving skills     Must be able to maintain professionalism during stressful situation     Strong time-management and organizational skills EO weekends/EO Holiday required for all PT & FT positions.
