Position Description:
The Restaurant Supervisor ("Supervisor de Restaurante") assists management in supervision of the restaurant's personnel to ensures that the restaurant, bar, room service teams are providing exceptional service and a product of high quality and value.
- Maintains a house bank and conforms to established cash-handling procedures.
Supervises the department's staff in established safety and emergency procedures. - Ensures that all areas are maintained at the highest level of cleanliness in accordance with the Health Department and hotel standards.
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Interviews, and trains employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Supervises a total of approximately 50 employees.
Minimum 3 years Food & Beverage experience
Minimum 1 year management experience
Certified Sommelier a plus
Hotel experience a plus
