If you are taking graduate night classes, or have flexible hours with another job, pet sitting may be a perfect fit for you!
He or she must be extremely responsible and dedicated, own a reliable bike and smart phone, and must love to interact with both people and their pets. We are looking for enthusiasm, dependability, and pet sitters with an attention to detail. The relationship between a sitter and a client is critical, so well-honed written and verbal skills are a must.
The following requirements MUST be met to be considered for this job:
-You love animals, including dogs AND cats
-You are an avid biker with winter biking experience OR have a car (CTA is not an option unfortunately)
-You are available Monday THRU Friday, 10am to 4pm (all five days are a must)
-You have a SmartPhone with Internet access
-You are energetic, positive and a hard worker
-You are looking to become part of a growing and successful team
-You can make a long-term commitment (at least 6 months)
Applicants who work second jobs or graduate students with classes starting after 4pm are encouraged to apply. Freelancers who set their own hours, or those that work from home before 10a or after 4p should apply!
Interested in working with us beyond 10am-4pm? We always have additional opportunities for our staff! Accepting later weekday walks (after 4 pm) or weekend walks increases earnings. Overnight housesitting jobs and cat visits do as well.
